Essential website and app features
We use cookies and similar browser storage to support sign-in, security, your cookie choice, and features you request. Declining optional measurement does not sign you out, erase your work, or remove your device keys. Display and accessibility settings remain under their existing controls.
Optional website measurement
With your permission, Google Analytics measures visits to public marketing pages. Google receives usage and device information. We do not send your account ID, organization role, URL query parameters, assessment answers, or authenticated app activity through this integration. See Google's privacy policy for information about its processing.
We also use a first-party visitor identifier and campaign information to understand how visitors find the website and which visits lead to sign-ups. If you allow measurement, that attribution may accompany your sign-up. These features are optional. No advertising pixel is added by this preference system.
Internal service reporting
Our internal reporting works independently of optional cookies. While signed in, Neuroclusive records one foreground visit per account per UTC day to count active and returning users. These records contain the account identifier, day, and recording time, with no page paths, device identifiers, answers, or scores. They are retained with your account, included in your data export, and removed when your account is deleted. Operators see aggregate counts. Authenticated activity is not sent to Google.
Public website reporting counts page visits and estimates daily unique visitors without setting cookies or reading browser storage. The server temporarily processes the network address and browser information already received with a request, using a random daily secret. It retains a statistical counting structure that cannot list visitors; the secret and structure expire at UTC midnight. Only daily totals by broad public page group remain in our reporting database. We do not store raw network addresses, browser information, visitor hashes, query strings, or campaign tags in these analytics records. Shared networks, VPNs, and device changes can affect the estimate. Visitors are not linked across days or to signed-in accounts.
These internal counts support maintaining and improving the Service. Optional-cookie choices control Google and identified campaign attribution, not these internal reports. The Privacy Policy explains our purposes, legal bases, and your rights, including how to object to processing.
What is stored on this browser
- neuroclusive_cookie_preferences: your choice, notice version, and choice date for up to 180 days. This is used only to remember your settings.
- _ga and _ga_*: Google Analytics identifiers, configured for up to 180 days when measurement is allowed.
- neuroclusive_visitor_id: optional first-party visit attribution, stored in a cookie for up to one year and in browser storage until cleared.
- utm_params and utm_timestamp: optional campaign information in browser storage until cleared. Current-entry routing limits stored attribution to a 30-minute continuation window.
- neuroclusive_tracked: a session marker that avoids repeating the initial visit report.
Changing your choice
Both allowing and declining dismiss the dialog and reveal the website. Closing the first dialog keeps optional cookies off. Cookie settings are available in the website footer and app privacy settings. Withdrawal stops Google and identified visit/campaign measurement and removes the optional identifiers this integration controls on your browser. Internal service reporting remains separate. For requests concerning information already received, use the contact and data-rights process in our Privacy Policy.
Preferences apply to this browser on this website. They remain separate from neuriprint processing permissions, sharing, marketing emails, and notification permissions. Clearing cookies or using another browser may require a new choice.
